Most people usually act a little surprised whenever they hear that there is great opportunities and spots for snorkelers in the Komodo National Park. A great opportunity for us to explore our usual sites in a way we have never really seen them before – from the top.
From beautiful shallow pristine coral reefs to stunning walls covered in soft corals, sea grass and black sand as well as volcanic rocks and mangroves… our 10 days snorkeling trip surely did not get boring. Usual suspects can obviously also found whilst staying on the surface most of the time: Reef Mantas, Black and White Tip Reef Sharks, Giant Trevallies, Cuttlefish and Octopi. The critter world surprises with Leaf Scorpionfish, Juvenile Warty Frogfish, Ladybugs, Nudibranchs and Seahorses.
All of that in perfect conditions so that our snorkelers can enjoy and properly check out the sheltered spots during a two to three hour session!
