We’ve always had a love for photography and a passion for the planet’s wild places and its creatures, so when we first became scuba qualified it was a natural extension for us to start capturing our underwater encounters.
We enjoy the challenge of photographing underwater: the often unpredictable currents, the combination of using natural light and artificial light, finding rare and unique subjects, capturing the perplexing personality of our ocean’s inhabitants, and the awe and wonder of a healthy, vibrant coral reef.
Over the years, we have combined this love with the art of story telling; and through our images and narratives have set ourselves a mission to inspire a better appreciation of the natural world. As regular contributors to a number of media publications, including: Asian Diver Magazine, and Scuba Diver Australasia, we aim to raise awareness of the challenges many of our planet’s species are facing.
Documenting our encounters underwater has not only further inspired our love for the ocean, but continues to provide a poignant reminder of the challenges our marine ecosystems face.
With professional backgrounds in tourism strategy, environmental sustainability, and government relations, when we are not underwater or in the mountains (because the mountains are also our thing), we work professionally as strategic consultants, advising governments and industry on sustainable destination planning and development.
