Mermaid II August 31 – September 07, 2019

Just when you think it can’t get any better, Komodo has another surprise in store for you! Entering the National Park from the North in Batu Moncho, we backroll into the water and straight onto a huge reef manta.

“Castle Rock” is one of the most popular dive sites in Komodo and that for a good reason. Reef sharks and schooling fish life is what makes this site so very special. We are blessed with another typical Komodo dive, drifting along the colorful reefs of Tatawa Besar.

But the highlight of the trip is our sunset dive at “Shotgun”: we spent an entire hour in the shallow waters of the dive site, watching a dozen of Reef Mantas feeding on the surface. What an unforgettable experience!

The icing of the cake to this trip are the many critters and creatures we are able to find. Baby Hairy Frogfish, Flamboyant Cuttlefish, tons of Ornate Ghost Pipefish and Pygmy Seahorses. What an incredible week with the happiest guests ever from DIVEIndiaOutbound comes to an end- we shall see you soon again!
