This week’s Raja Ampat adventure showcased the region’s incredible abundance of marine biodiversity.
We ventured into more secluded area of Raja Ampat, full of beautiful landscapes and hidden lagoons, exploring the infrequently dived sites around the area, and finding a myriad of tiny and rare critters amongst the familiar sight of beautiful coral reefs, swimthroughs, overhangs and giant school of fish.
Highlights include finding different species of octopus, cuttlefishes, shrimps and nudibranchs. Sighting of a baby Wobbegong shark, just about 30cm long, hiding under a coral. Wall of Fusiliers being chased by Giant Trevallies, while a big school of Barracuda were cruising in the blue.
The Kingdom of Fish just never ceased to surprise us with the abundance of biodiversity!
