Raja Ampat’s Beauty at Any Depth

Would you ever expect to find a huge amount of marine life combined with incredible healthy coral reefs just a few feet under the surface? That’s what our happy snorkelers have experienced on the last trip in Raja Ampat with Mermaid I.

From large schools of fish, turtles, sea snakes, cuttlefish, reef sharks to colourful nudibranchs, shrimps, crabs and lobsters. Basically pretty much everything you would find while scuba diving. That’s what Raja Ampat has to offer right below the surface in shallow waters! This makes a great opportunity for non divers who would want to enjoy the rich and abundant amount of marine life!

Soft and hard corals, large gorgonians, rock formations covered of colourful sponges and crinoids, many interesting mangroves where we spent hours and hours exploring.
Warm water, blue skies, flat sea, such a perfect snorkelling trip!
