The Mermaid II with Epic Dive Adventures, just embarked on an excellent adventure across 3 different seas, around 600 nautical miles of navigation over the course of 12 days. From Lembeh Strait to Raja Ampat, with an adventurous stopover at Halmahera.
Starting the trip off by sailing overnight from Lembeh strait to the island of Tifore, with pleasant weather along the way. On this remote hidden gem, all of our guests encountered a massive school of Barracudas and Bigeye Jacks on every dive! Towering an incredible 10 meters high from top to bottom.
Moving on towards Halmahera, we spent multiple days of diving the remote and infrequently dived reefs. The untouched reefs are literally pulsing with life! Pristine corals dazzling with millions of Anthias dancing in the currents, while larger fish lurks in the blue
On the way to Raja Ampat, we stopped by another remote island of Pisang. This rocky island offers some dramatic topography with tunnels and swimthroughs, beautiful hard corals and amazing fish actions. On some dives, a lucky few had the chance to witness a rare phenomenon of spawning Barrel Sponges.
After another overnight crossing, we finally arrived in Raja Ampat, where we concluded the last leg of our trip. We were immediately greeted by the familiar sight of beautiful soft and hard corals, lots of schooling fish actions and some critters such as the famous pygmy seahorses, to the delight of our guests
