Day 1

Check-in on board Mermaid I. Once all guests are on board and settle into the cabins, we will do a general safety briefing and start cruising overnight to Komodo National Park.

Day 2

Three dives around the Lintah Strait, the strait between Komodo Island on the west and Rinca and Flores on the east. Here, you can expect crystal clear waters and a vast diversity of marine life from sharks and rays, including mantas, to turtles galore, schooling fish and nudibranchs if you can take your eyes off the rest of the action going on around you!

There is a choice of dive sites including Batu Bolong, Takat Makassar, Tatawa Besar, Tatawa Kecil, Batu Tengah, and Siaba Kecil. Your night dive can be either a critter dive at Wainiloo or a reef dive in northern Komodo.

Day 3

Start your day with an exciting visit to Komodo National Park to walk with the dragons! Then relax for around 1.5 hours as Mermaid I cruises south to Manta Alley, home to a large school of reef mantas. After exhilarating manta dives, Mermaid I will sail to Horseshoe Bay for your night dive at Torpedo Alley. This site offers some of the most weird and wonderful critters and macro diving you will ever see!

Day 4

Today, at the world-famous dive site Cannibal Rock, you can expect spectacular diving— rare nudibranchs, frogfish, spectacular corals, sponges, ascidians, huge black coral bushes, turtles, cuttlefish, loads of reef fish, and more. You can also watch dragons on the beach, spot monkeys, deer, and wild pigs along the shore, and go beach combing. You might even have a chance to follow whales and dolphins feeding in the calm bay.

You will overnight at this peaceful place, night diving at one of the many fabulous spots.

Day 5

Two more dives in the Lintah Strait, with beautiful coral reefs, sea mounts and crystal clear waters. The famous Pink Beach or Soro Lia at Komodo Island offers a fabulous night dive with fire urchins, zebra crabs, frogfish, nudibranchs, amazing basket stars and more.

Day 6

Spend the day at Gili Lawa Laut or Gili Lawa Darat. Famous sites such as Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, Lighthouse Reef, and The Old Passage will delight with fast drifts and great fish action. Loads of feeding action on the morning and late afternoon dives here. The chance for grey reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, turtles, mantas and even dolphins add to the excitement!

Day 7

Two more dives around the Gili Lawa Laut area, then to Gili Banta to dive reefs, walls and submerged seamounts offering dives with pelagics, turtles, schooling fish and clear waters.

Day 8

Four dives at Sangeang Island for rare nudibranchs, pygmy seahorses and underwater hot springs that support this very unique marine life. Cruise to Moyo Island.

Day 9

End your adventure with a great dive in the calm, clear waters of Angel Reef at Moyo Island.

Get ready to explore the magnificent underwater world teeming with massive elephant ear and barrel sponges, schools of vibrant longfin bannerfish and red tooth triggerfish, fascinating frogfish, colourful nudibranchs, playful eels, graceful surgeonfish, vibrant snappers and feisty dogtooth tuna.

Then, cruise back to Bali.

Disembark after breakfast, transfer at 8 am to the airport or your local hotel. Get ready to share your amazing experiences with your loved ones.

Day 1

Get ready for an amazing day of diving on board the Mermaid II! You'll have the chance to explore two incredible sites today. First, you'll head to the pier to check out the amazing critter sanctuary. Then, you'll jump into the water for a super reef dive just a few hours from Maumere. After that, it's off to Komodo National Park for an overnight cruise!

Batik Air is a full-service airline which began operations in May 2013. This airline is part of the Lion Air group. Batik Air flies to many of Mermaid’s destinations. They offer some convenient options such as direct flights from Jakarta to Sorong, for our Raja Ampat cruises, or to Ambon to join some of our most exciting cruises.
