    Raja Ampat – Lembeh Special Expedition Charter: Whale Watching Cruise

    A private whale watching and diving voyage across the Halmahera Sea and Molucca Sea.

    Overview

    This 10-day voyage links three very different parts of eastern Indonesia in ten days. We start in Raja Ampat, West Papua, home to the richest coral reefs on Earth. We then cross to Halmahera, another underwater paradise with biodiversity level matched with Raja Ampat, and finish in Lembeh Strait, North Sulawesi, the world capital of muck diving.

    This is a private charter. The whole boat is reserved for Dr Charles Anderson expedition trip, so the route and daily rhythm will be focusing on whale searching. Because it is a charter-only expedition, it is not available for individual (FIT) booking.

    Transfers are included on departure day from Sorong Airport (SOQ) and city hotels and to Manado Airport and City Hotels on arrival day.

    Convenient Departure Location

    We depart out of Sorong Harbour – conveniently located in Sorong's main town, a quick 15-minute ride from the airport. Sorong Airport (SOQ) can be reached with a direct flight from Jakarta (CGK), and Manado (MDC). Check-in time in Sorong is between 07.00 am - 14.00.

    Arrivals

    The checkout time from Lembeh, Bitung will be at 08.00 am, giving a lot of time to catch a same-day flight. Manado Airport (MDC) is located 45 minutes away from Lembeh.For guests going to Bunaken Islands or Manado City hotel, we will arrange a car transfer to Manado.For guests doing a land tour after the cruise, or arranging their own car transfer, we will transfer you by speedboat to the designated jetty where the driver can meet you.Guests going to Bangka Island after the cruise will be transferred to the airport to meet the resort's staff, who will arrange the transfer to the island.
